He didn't know why he stayed there, looking into that little clearing, trying to make out the light bubbling to the surface in the tiny pool of water. It caught his eye and every time he instinctively pulled away something deeper cemented his gaze. The trees seemed to bend inward, looking into the small pool with anticipation. He watched, his mouth agape in unknowing horror, as something broke the waters surface. And then there she stood, born from the swamp, her skin wet and glistening, her head growling all the while.
love tiger? i LOVE this piece, tait. It's gorgeous. The line quality is amazing, and i love your use of light; it looks as if she is the source of it. The composition is also impressive; I like that you put her sightly off center to take advantage of the contrast between the tigirl and the black background. It draws the viewer's eye really well. Great job!! xo

If you saw two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins the most? I'd say Flippy, wouldn't you? You'd be wrong, though. It's Hambone.
Wow... there is something about this that I really love! The lighting on the trees, the stark look of the figure... it's extremely iconic and interesting. You don't need the story, but that makes it even better... very well done!
