First assignment for my Visual Storytelling 1 class. Its difficult to make the pencil look good on the computer but i did my best. they look better in person though! The reason the end is so weird is related to the assignment, but i feel like i made it work.

there are a couple of panels in here that are just stunning- the light coming through the trees and that shot of the spiral stair? spectacular. I'd love to see this with really rich, intense blacks- so much of it is about disappearing edges and light effects I feel like a really rich black would make all the difference
seriously, though, this is amazing. I'm definitely watching you.

thank you so much! that light coming through the trees panel took me about 8 hours to get right but its gotta be my favorite panel in the comic aside from the full cafe shot. I actually think the lack of heavy blacks intensifies the atmosphere of it alot and keeps the tone light and a little whimsical even when hes in almost total darkness. thank you for the kind words and the watch!
